Terms of Service

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ZeroTraceAI (the “Service”), operated by LeadLegend LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered address is: 63-66 Hatton Garden, Fifth Floor, Suite 23, London, EC1N 8LE.

By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ZeroTraceAI provides software that detects and removes hidden Unicode characters, lookalike punctuation, and related formatting artefacts from text inputs.

The Service is offered in two forms: a free web tool at zerotraceai.com, and a paid API for programmatic access. Both forms are subject to these Terms.

The Service does not generate text. It does not store the content of cleaning operations beyond basic metadata (character count, modification count, and timestamp). It does not modify the meaning of text submitted to it.

3. Accounts

An account is required to access the paid API. Accounts are optional for the free web tool.

When creating an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You should not maintain multiple accounts for the same person in order to circumvent plan quotas or pricing.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out specific prohibited uses in full.

At a minimum, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful under applicable law.
• Use the Service in a way that violates the rights of third parties.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or facilitate harm to specific individuals.
• Use the Service to circumvent the terms of service of other platforms (including email service providers, social media platforms, or AI detection services) where doing so is prohibited by law.
• Engage in automated abuse of the Service, including systematic attempts to exceed rate limits or evade access controls.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Current pricing is: Starter at $5.00 USD per month and Pro at $15.00 USD per month. All prices are in US dollars.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel beforehand.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or via the customer billing portal. Cancellation stops future charges. Access may continue through the current billing period or be terminated immediately, at our discretion based on the circumstances.

We do not offer refunds for amounts already charged. Please see our Refund Policy for details, including the process for requesting a discretionary refund in exceptional circumstances.

Initiating a chargeback with your payment provider without first contacting us in good faith may result in immediate account termination.

We may change our pricing. For existing subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any pricing change before it takes effect on your account.

6. API Usage Limits

Each paid plan includes a defined monthly quota of API requests. Your quota and current usage are visible from your account dashboard.

If you exceed your monthly quota, API requests will be rejected with an error response until the next billing cycle begins. We do not automatically charge for overages.

We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts engaged in patterns of clearly abusive or excessive use, including patterns that disproportionately affect the quality of service for other users.

7. Intellectual Property

ZeroTraceAI, including all source code, design, documentation, and branding, is owned by LeadLegend LTD and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The text you submit to the Service remains your own. We do not claim any ownership over content you submit for cleaning. The cleaned text returned to you is yours to use freely.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure. We do not warrant that text cleaning will produce any specific outcome, including evasion of any particular AI detection system.

ZeroTraceAI is a text processing tool. Results depend on how you use the Service and on factors that are outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LeadLegend LTD’s total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to your use of the Service is limited to the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or reputational harm.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LeadLegend LTD and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion.

You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your access to paid features will end in accordance with the terms of your subscription.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect after your access ends. These include the sections on intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms at zerotraceai.com/terms-of-service with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
